As you may be aware we have a new online registration system that officially starts on Monday, August 2. You will be receiving an invitation via email(if you previously provided us with an email address) on Sunday to access the TeacherEase Portal for registration. Some parents may have received an email already and attempted online registration, this was done while we were still working on the new system. If you have attempted registration already, we urge you to log into the portal after you receive the invitation email on Sunday, and repeat the process to ensure the information was received correctly. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused as we move forward in improving these processes for our school.

We wanted to update everyone on registration. We are working very hard on getting it up and going. A few of you have logged in and been able to complete the registration process. As more of you do so, we are finding the kinks and trying to work those out. Over the next few days, until registration officially opens, there may be times the portal is unavailable as we go in to update the process. Students, Parents and Guardian of Gallatin County CUSD 7: Thank you for your patience as we are moving to a new student software program called Teacherease. Our Administrative Assistants have been working non-stop entering all data into this new program which has been quite an undertaking. We will no longer being using the old parent portal or myschool bucks portal. Teacherease will have both the parent portal for grade checks, and the fees portal to pay school fees and lunch payments online with credit card. We are again providing free lunches for all students in the district! Extras must be purchased as we have done the past two years. We will be doing an in-person registration using school technology. Once students are registered and fees are paid you will have access to student schedules in the Teacherease program. TIME: 8 am to 2 pm daily Come in anytime or register online (see below) Elementary will register August 2-5, Jr. High registration: August 2nd- grade 5, August 3rd grade 6, August 4th- grades 7 & 8, High School registration: August 5th and 6th (all students) New students will need to come in to register please call 272-3821 ext. 1308. Online registration will be available August 2nd by going to the school’s website www.Gallatincusd7.com under the menu tab you will find the Teacherease link, just click and register your students.

HAWKS LUNCH BUNCH SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK! The school van for New Haven will be at the community center for lunches to be passed out by 11:15 on Monday & Wednesday. The van for Ridgway will be at the St. Joe ball field around noon on Monday & Wednesday. The country route will remain on the same schedule and route as last year. If you need to be added to this list, please message us here or call/text Anita Golden 618-525-4128 The Equality Fire Dept will pass out meals from their station around 11:30 Nell Rosser will pick up meals for Old Shawneetown by noon. New Shawneetown meals will be available for pick up from 11:30-12:30 at the Ohio Valley General Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. 2021 GCHS Graduation
Good Afternoon: We are excited to announce that due to COVID 19 mass restriction changes we are now able to welcome more guest for the Jr. High Graduation. Each graduate will receive 20 tickets at graduation practice on Wednesday morning. All guest will need to show their ticket when entering the gym on Thursday night. No ticket is required for the graduate or students that are participating in the choir. Mask will be required through the entire ceremony for all graduates and guests. Iconik will be here to take photos of the graduates prior to graduation in the Jr. High gym and students will be allowed to remove their mask for these pictures. Picture order forms will go home with graduates at graduation practice on Wednesday. If you would like to have a family picture taken with your graduate in front of the podium in the high school gym, we are allowing you to do so by appointment only, from 12:30-6:00 on Wednesday. Parents will not be allowed to come down onto the floor Thursday evening for photos.

Dear Parents, Guardians, Staff, and Community, We want to inform you we were notified by a parent and the Egyptian Health Department that a student has been positively diagnosed with COVID-19. The last time the student was in the building was Friday, May 14th. We must protect the privacy of the student(s) involved, and school nurses are making phone calls to parents and guardians of students identified as close contact. Once the Egyptian Health Department completes contact tracing, they will contact those in close contact with the student (within 6 feet of positive case for 15 minutes or more). As a precaution, and with only three and a half days of school remaining, one class will not return to the building this school year. The district will continue mitigation procedures and follow the CDC and IDPH guidelines as we finish up this school year. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
