Just a reminder for Seniors, the SIC scholarship application is due this weekend- If you have your application completed tomorrow (Friday 26th) by noon, Mr Cruson will make sure your application gets to the College for you.
The Gallatin County school is conducting Child Find/Preschool Screenings for birth to 5 year old children not yet enrolled in public schools and who will not be kindergarten eligible in the fall. The screening checks each child's progress in hearing, vision, speech, language, and coordination skills. This will give parents a better idea of how their child is progressing at this very young age before he/she begins school. This screening program is free and parents will receive immediate feedback on how their child is developing. Head Start personnel may also be present to explain their program and services.
The screening will be held at the school on Thursday, March 4th and Friday, March 5th. Please call the office as soon as possible to set up an appointment as time slots will fill up quickly. The screening will take approximately 30 minutes and you will need to bring an official copy of your child's birth certificate with you to your appointment. Please call the office at (618) 272-3821 ext. 1308 and I will be happy to get you set up.
Seniors students- SIC Scholarships are due at the college by 2/28/21, which is a Sunday. I will be happy to take any completed applications to the college on Friday(2/26/21), provided you have everything (app,essay and transcript) ready to go before noon. It must be in my office by lunch this Friday(2/26/21) for me to take it to the college and turn it in for you.

This is a reminder that Gallatin CUSD 7 will be in session tomorrow Monday, February 22nd. Busses will run in towns and highways. Gravel roads are still treterousous and busses will not pick up students on gravel tomorrow. If you live in these areas please do a remote learning day or you may bring your child to school on February 22nd. If you have questions please call 618 272-3821 extension 1287 to speak to Mr. Koester at the bus garage. We look forward to seeing everyone in the morning.

The weather forecast for next week predicts 1-5 inches of snow for our area on Monday, February 15. If we cannot have in-person learning next week, we will have e-learning and remote learning days. Any student who wants a food delivery can call (618) 272-3821 extension 1287 by 5 pm on Saturday (tomorrow) and leave a message. We will do a one-time delivery of meals for the entire week on Sunday, February 14, between 1-5 pm. We are hopeful this storm misses our area, and we will be able to return to school soon!

Due to road conditions the Jr high boys game at NCOE tomorrow is cancelled and the high school games at home against Carmi are cancelled.
