Seniors, Parents and Guardians, the FAFSA - financial aid night scheduled for tomorrow January 8th, will be postponed, a reschedule date and information will be posted later.
Gallatin County CUSD 7 will be closed on Tuesday,January 7, due to the winter storm and road conditions. All Games and Practices are canceled.

Dear High School Parents and Students, We would like to inform you that our Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball games are overlapping with the coronation ceremony, which will shorten the duration of the homecoming dance. To allow our students more time to enjoy the dance and spend time with their friends, we have decided to extend the ending time of the homecoming dance to 11:30 PM. Thank you for your understanding.
Band members and parents, the Ridgway Christmas Parade has been rescheduled. The Gallatin County Band will march in the Christmas Parade in Ridgway on December 21st.
It is Homecoming Night at Gallatin County Community Unit School District #7! The Girls Basketball Team's Regional Banner Ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM. Following the ceremony, the High School Girls will play against Pope County. At 6:00 PM, the Junior Varsity Boys will face Harrisburg, and at 7:00 PM, the Varsity Boys will also play against Harrisburg. Game times are approximate. After the Varsity game, there will be a King and Queen Coronation, followed by a high school student dance that will end at 11:00 PM. We hope everyone can join us for Homecoming and enjoy a full night of Hawk Basketball!

CBAI Legence Bank Scholarship program
Every year, CBAI (Community Bankers Association of Illinois) awards over $20,000 in scholarships funds to high school seniors statewide through their Annual Essay Scholarship Program. At Legence Bank, we have the opportunity to nominate local students in our area for a chance to win one of these scholarships!
The scholarship information and application are attached and is DUE by Friday, February 21, 2025 at 3 pm. You may turn in your completed application and essay to your local Legence Bank branch, or scan and email to jgrinnell@legencebank.com.
